Pitch invasions

Not really bothered by the initial invasion, it's all in good spirit, but those who dragged it out were taking the piss a bit. Like, have your fun but remember it's not all about you, get in and get out like the majority who do it for a laugh.

What harm was done? Bore off mate.
People that weren’t even trying to invadir were likely hurt (as they have been at previous invasions), pitch and equipment were damaged, more police had to be brought in to handle the likely invasion, and the club will be fined, among other consequences.

But yeah, “fuck the club and other people”, right?

Anyone who went on the pitch, including anyone in this thread who did is a complete **** (choose your own 4 letter insult). Trying to make the day about yourself, celebrating like you actually did something to win the title. Putting yourselves above your club, nowt to be proud of, insulting people who rightly tell you it's wrong shows the kind of people you are.

Loads didn't bother today it's old hat now. The ones that did soon got told to get off and the stewards in the end did okay clearing the pitch though one bellend didn't want to get off, I'd have been happy to see him nicked he took the piss.

No, the Police didn't handle the invasion, they moved in front of the away end. While they did that, the pitch invasion happened to the left and to right of them. They were brought into protect the away end, not to stop the pitch invasion.

The police were around the tunnel and a few other area, as well. It was reported ahead of the match that more police were allocated because of the potential invasion.

Not like they had better things to do, of course.

Spot on mate. He probably watched it on the TV he obviously wasn't aware of what was going on.
