Never done a pitch invasion, is it really that much fun? I imagine after a while you just sort of feel like a dickhead on a field.

Done two in my lifetime. One in 1964 at Bert Trautmann's testimonial, the other at Newcastle in 1968.

MORE police were allocated to the ground specifically because of the worry of the pitch invasion. The bellends advocating for it ahead of time caused them to be there.

People ignored the clubs wishes and did something that has negative consequences for the club (and likely people that had nothing to do with the invasion).

Everything else is just juvenile rationalisation for stupid behaviour.

Once again, the Police didn't try to stop the pitch invasion. 20-30 of them stood infront of the away end.
