I don’t mind people not agreeing with the pitch invasions, fair enough.

But some of the accusations on this thread about the pitch invasions and the fans taking part in them have been outlandish.

Not for the people who just want the trophy presented . All of level 2 and 3 , just have sit and watch selfish people wandering about doing no good to anyone and the club probably facing a fine for not controlling selfish people

The only doubt for me, as I think it's great, great for the fans on the pitch, great on TV, but I genuinely think it's an excuse for a points deduction for next season. I think it was last week "they" announced it was frowned upon, it was announced when the only team likely to do it was us or the arse, if its us I can see it.

So it’s gone from all to a majority. You can’t say that. You don’t know. By law no club wants pitch invasions, but no club stops them. I’m sure club owners and directors watching on enjoy the scenes of the fans celebrating title wins and promotion celebrations on the pitch peacefully. The groundsmen have every right to be pissed off with pitch invasions. I bet if you asked any City player caught up in a promotion or title win pitch invasion by City fans, being carried shoulder high, if they enjoyed that moment, most will say they did.

I’m going to leave it at that. Regardless if there is a pitch invasion or not, like every other City fan I hope City will win the PL title and make it 4 PL titles in a row. An achievement all City fans can celebrate.

You are correct and the booing starts immediately from level 2 and 3 once the morons run on the pitch. Pitch invasion for Aguero 2012 incredible, pitch invasion when league won matches before lame and selfish

Some people’s heads will explode if they ever find out we used to regularly do a pitch invasion on the last home game of the season back in the 70s, to ‘celebrate’ finishing mid table.

All for pitch invasions if you have something to celebrate, for some that will be just staying up, last home game of the season is for letting out the tension, the only people upset last season was the TV company, because they over ran on the lifting of the trophy, fuck em.
