PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

no problem.

Well yes, he still thinks Salford can reach the Championship (at least) and then FFP kicks in.

Of course, all the money at Salford and the hotel is the Malaysian Peter Lim who has basically destroyed Valencia.
Absolutely
Have said for a while that Chuckle is basically Lim's bag man.
Chuckle's payoff for failing at Valencia is his seed money for his business dealings

It's all very boring because there are so many layers of hypocrisy. The fact of the matter is that the owners have put into City in a sustainable way; or as far as we know, the sponsorship deals are tied in to represent revenue over the term of the expenditure the club currently have.

What is the purpose of these rules and regulations (aka FFP). Thaksin Shinawatra would have been the perfect example for it to be applied because the club was operating in immense amounts of debt, however, would that not have been the perfect time for someone/a group to speculate to acommodate?

I hear the latest thing being brought in is to restrict player contracts to 5 years to prevent lower transfer fee amortisation? It is all getting a little bit boring to be honest.

What is the purpose of these regulations again? And how is it protecting the clubs that are currently fighting administration and doing anything they can to prevent dropping from the face of existence?

Just watched the football focus interview about City with Dion Dublin, Martin Keown and Sam Lee from the athletic whoever he is and whatever the athletic is. Whatever happened to impartiality bbc? Think they only mentioned once the charges are allegations. Keown quick to come out with financial doping accusations but what these guys forgot is Arsenal, Man Yoo, Livarpool, Chelsea, and before the top 4 in the 90's Leeds and Newcastle all did exactly the same thing. Bought the best players, invested in the club and tried to win trophies. Not one pundit, journalist, tv presenter, reporter or so called knowledgeable person has made the point that these 'rules' were brought in when Man City became wealthier than them and started to win trophies again. Selective memories these people.
Especially ironic when you think that The Athletic just went around and cherry picked all of the best journalists (in their opinion) and offered them big money when they started up.
