It sounds absolutely ludicrous and I don't see how it could be true. If we went down this route it would make us complicit in whatever dishonest dealings we had information on by not revealing them ourselves. We live in hope though.

That’s my thinking too. If we’re relying on a voice recording to clear our name then that just screams guilty imo. Or perhaps we don’t have total faith in the independent panel, in other words our fate is the hands of another kangaroo court.
