PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I’ve used some critical thinking & if there is dirt on other clubs, I’m pretty certain we’d know.

Surely you can use your critical thinking & understand if there is dirt, we’re likely to know & why we’d be likely to know?
Firstly - why? If that dirt is on the Rags for arguments sake - the PL will probably bury it, as let's face it - they have too much power at the top level in the PL, but also consider - this 'dirt' on us is as the result of a targetted hack... on that no other PL club has been subjected to.
Also, the PL's investigation was because of these leaked emails... so we're the only club that's been looked at so rigorously and it raises the question - if the PL missed all these alleged issues, does that mean they may have made that same mistake on other clubs finances? This should really mean that every club is subjected to the same scrutiny going back to 1992.

I'm sure that the information about us having information at our disposal that would be damaging to the PL and/or rival clubs within it has been posted in good faith. However, weren't similar claims posted when UEFA was pursuing its investigation of City, too? Nothing ever came of that. Surely better not to get too excited and just wait and see.
And it ended in a score draw after our meetings with Ceferin, whilst a new order wasn’t ensuing we have made a final & just short of another since, because maybe we are being treated a bit more fairly, although Lahoz did ref the final. So it seems we are back where we started and it’s now the PL, the similarities are quite startling

I think it's clear to anyone watching how VAR is able to 'script' a game if necessary... we have already had people like Scudamore saying the PL needs a strong United team, and they're doing their best to keep them, Liverpool and Arsenal relevant... money brings corruption, and whether we like it or not, the Rags and Dippers make the PL more money so it stands to reason they would do anything they could to get them back to the top.
VAR needed to be transparent from the outset... all grounds should have been made up to standard from day one - all with big screens and no VAR blackspots (like Anfield), and refs should wear a mic, as in Rugby, so we could hear the reasoning around decisions... maybe a camera in Stockley Park too.
City haven't had a favorable decision at home or away v dippers, rags or arse. PL / VAR corrupt as fuck as stated above. Please let this info be right. In fact every time we play the scouse cunts we get done over
with refs/VAR.

I've been hearing this sort of stuff loads of times on here. And when Liverpool won the league too wasn't there going to be some great reveal or something. I'm not doubting Dodge who I know personally but as you say, it really would be clutching at straws to get too excited about this sort of chinese whispers/rumours stuff. I'm not even sure that it would change much even if this recording did exist.

I swear I could make a post on here saying that Pep has been cast as William the Conqueror in a musical comedy about the Battle of Hastings and there'd still be people saying 'I'm sure you posted it in good faith, but...'

Not having a go, just think that saying 'I'm sure it was posted in good faith' is meaningless if the rest of your post is saying you think it's bullshit. But on this forum it's the go to to defend anyone who says anything far fetched.

It's merely a courtesy to another poster whom I don't know. I'm not defending him, but nor do I have any reason to think he's deliberately on a wind-up. I happen to think it sounds a bit too good to be true, but a bit of politeness costs nothing.

Yeh, it's a bit like saying "I'm not having a go" then having a go. I'm not having a go by the way.

Oh no he hasn't !

At some point, City need to reach out to NYT about this guy. He clearly has an issue with City, and his latest piece is absolute fucking nonsense which proves why nobody trusts the papers:

"The sense of paranoia around the process only grew when an independent forensic accountant hired to assist the investigators took his car in for service and discovered a tracking device had been attached to it. There was no evidence the bug had any connection to the City case — the accountant was working on several cases at the time — but its discovery was known among others involved in the investigation."
