PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Irrelevant. 1. They have no idea what the Commission will come up with it. 2. Liverpool is being sold simply because nobody wants to pay their asking price 3. United will get sold in all likelihood.

Anyway, it is almost definitely unconnected and wouldn't form the basis of that go/no go decision.
Utd: Apart from the co- chairmen, the Glazer family want out, for preference.
Ineos are reported to have made an indicative bid of £4.5bn. Once they have seen the data, they won’t increase that, so Middle East is likely.

Surely any buyer would also want to see the debts hidden in the cayman island accounts?

Cheers for the response - appreciated. Seems to be myself over thinking. Then again - just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get us !! Thanks

I always thought both sets of red shite being put up for sale by their US owners was just a massive flounce because the ESL got shot down. Maybe with either the punishment of city or implosion of the PL to look forward to they once again see this as a good place to do business?

Could we have a whip-round to buy Utd? Give the Glazers £10bn in recognition of their services to football. Then run the club into the ground but slowly, a slow lingering demise over the next 15 years would be nice.

Unravelling United’s accounts - not just the Cayman Islands, but the PIK notes that disappeared and whatever borrowings the wider Glazier empire has secured against United could take months to unravel and understand during the due diligence process and will hugely reduce the price.

Agreed mate, their whole empire (lol) is leveraged against the rags?

Manchester Central MP Lucy Powell mentioned us today in the Commons...

"From Southend to Scunthorpe, other clubs stand on the brink, a European super-league is back on the table, Man City & the PL face years in the courts..”
