PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just saw the David Dein clip. Ha ha - fair play to him. I don’t think Morgan was expecting that - probably thought a fellow Gooner would go all in on us!
Yes I was pleasantly surprised by both Dein and Oakshot. Lawton is a prize knob.
Fwiw agree with DD RE time wasting and penalties.

That mp was useless, City voted for an independent regulator.

Has anyone watched this Moron shite so the rest of us didn’t have to?
What’s the gist of it? (In 10 words or less)
I’m guessing it’s a nothingburger.

I heard from someone who knows about IT security that Raul Pinto sent very basic phishing emails that dumb fucks opened and clicked on dodgy attachments. There was nothing sophisticated.
Still, companies usually have security software which automatically detects then warns users if an email is suspicious, on top of the endless user awareness training etc..

Maybe that wasn't so prevalent back in those days.

Spot-on. This is the definition of bad faith. These payments were already considered and dismissed by CAS after the UEFA case. They actually date back to a period before FFP was implemented by the PL. They were mentioned in a story in the Guardian in 2020 and City confirmed them to UEFA and provided the club's explanation. Presumably the auditors would also have been aware of them. But we passed the various audits, UEFA took no action, and CAS dismissed them anyway. Is this some sort of bombshell. Matt Lawton has made a fool of himself and his newspaper again.

Has anyone got a link to the doc? I’m assuming it’s the etisalat deal, in which case it wasn’t adjudicated on by CAS aside to say it was outside of the time limitation.
