Ps Danny Murphy rightly asks how can the PL be above the law of the land potentially using illegal material, conversation ends abruptly.

Were those emails not selectively taken out of context of bigger conversations to create a narrative ?

I could be wrong. I seem to recall we provided the real "FULL" conversations to explain away what was supposedly incriminating evidence.

But im almost certain it was after 2009!
So why are periods where clubs had no financial restraints under review?

I think always been rules governing 3rd parties paying wages etc

It can be in UK courts, the US is different.

I can’t believe there are City fans on here who genuinely believe that we haven’t massaged the books over the years.

All business do it, clever accounting and such to avoid taxes etc, but sport seems to have different repercussions.

City will ride the storm, get it tangled up in the courts, and drag it out for as long as possible in my opinion.

I can’t believe we have City fans that think these charges are justified.

Massaging can also mean staying within the rules.
