PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

May be right, but I hadn't heard that. Can you remember a source?

The alleged rule breaches stopped in 2018 didn't they? So I am not sure they would have looked at later periods?

Not connected to the charges but when the PL announced new associated party rules at the end of 2021 they also wanted historic sponsorship details from all clubs for 5 years from Jan 2016 to populate the databank.

I know i shouldnt … but every time i see other fans spouting on social media , its along the lines of “city are guilty, and if they arent, its corrupt and theyve bribed their way out”.

Its literally mission accomplished whatever happens isnt it. What i will say is, whatever the outcome, it wont take away any of the enjoyment of the last 15 years. We could be guilty as sin and ive still loved every fuckin minute .
They NEED us to be guilty. The alternative, that we’re just the best team in history, would kill the cunts.

I just had a nice message from someone at the club saying it would be very apt for our fans to sing

"Every little thing is gonna be alright"

at the game tomorrow.

Enjoy your evening blues!
Lol, I posted this 12 months ago after the first home game since the charges were made. Been through every bloody emotion on the matter since then as well.
3 little birds by Bob Marley was quietly playing on the concourse as I left SSL 3 at final whistle.

The Sheikhs investment and City's subsequent success on and off the field shocked the cartel to their core.

They never thought it could happen, certainly never planned for it and would never have expected it to be City.

Ferguson in particular went into denial and belittled City at every opportunity. He was used to being top dog and getting his own way and simply couldn't and wouldn't accept that City were now a coming force.

The words "Knock them off their fucking perch" were probably haunting him.

He and the snake Gill led the insidious multiclub campaign against City through their established influence as a cartel club.

Ferguson is a bitter, vengeful bastard and its easy to picture him hectoring at anyone who'd listen, particularly his sycophantic pups in the media.

Imo, he started as our first and most irrational 'danger man' to be supplanted later by more 'intelligent' politicians.

Ferguson deserves to suffer every second of the rest of his miserable life whilst City continue to succeed at the cost of his vile club.

Fuck him and them !!
Your first line is totally on the money.
The cartel probably could have accepted -at a push- another US takeover, but this was Johnny Arab, from a country where they have 10 wives and ride around on camels all day.
Damned uncivilised the lot of ‘em, don‘t know their place, but if we give him the benefit of our advice he’ll probably bugger off back to where he came from.
Possibly, amongst many chronic misjudgments (happily for us) the biggest mistake they as a group made.

Phone call:
PL: We know this is all utter shite but the reds and that snappy little hamster sized dog of theirs wants you to stop winning things.
CITY: Fuck off.
PL: How about this then - let the toothy German win the domestic treble, never been done before you know, he rides off into the sunset and we drop the charges?
CITY : Fuck off.
phones goes dead.
Phone call:
PL: Hello PGMOL - it’s up to you now.

It’s a sensible policy. Who are the best run club? City, so recruit as many of their best guys or ex guys as possible.
A sensible policy from the rags? What am I saying?
Same with what City did. Looked at Barca and said "I'm getting me some of that"
Let's just remember that everything the rags touch turns to rat shit, these days :)
