PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Rightly so. This crap has been hanging over us for years. On and on its rumbled. So called journalists allowed to print endless articles calling us everything under the sun. A relentless campaign to smear our name and to undermine all our hard won achievements. An endless raft of new financial rules and restrictions, all designed to stall and stop us and anybody new who gets an owner with enough money to challenge the old cartel.

We beat UEFA"s campaign to stop us, but no sooner have we licked our wounds and breathed a sigh of relief than the usual suspects stir up the premier league to charge us. In predictable fashion it has to be over the top. Not just one charge but ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN. Obviously the they knew the outrage and pile on this announcement would cause and so its proved.

It has been years of pressure and psychological torture. We have had to endure all this when we should just be enjoying the most successful period in our history. It's like after years of struggling, winning the lottery, booking the most luxurious holiday available but the resort is continually being hit by the smell of raw sewage. Everything is fantastic but that dread the awful smell will strike is always at the back of your mind.

People mention a certain journalists state of mind but what about ours? People can mock and say it's just a football club but we all know it's much deeper than that. For many a football club is family, the bond and love runs deep. So yes, this place will erupt when this shit is over and we are hopefully cleared. Rightly so.
Stupid question from a FOC
Could we as a fan base not sue these toss pots for deformation of OUR club ?

Must admit, I always thought that was a bit of an own goal by them, courts really don’t like to feel like they’re being manipulated/coerced by outside influences ime.

Just been looking at the pl code of conduct. These 8 clubs clearly broke these guidelines. Yet I dont remember any action being taken against them.

Well, this week Harris and Stefan had a chat about City's finances and Harris kept getting it wrong, people on bluemoon accuse him of not knowing the difference between his fevered City hate dreams and reality.

Later, the out of work Harris accused Stefan and Colin of being whistle-blower despite them not being in a position to know anything to blow the whistle on. When this is pointed out to him Harris claims the whistle-blower is someone else who lives in the next town along and you wouldn't know her. He then tries to cause a rift between Stefan and Harris, who go on to show the world (bluemoon) that despite their differences the still really love each other.

Harris in need of cash, decides to go and tell Arsenal fans all about his City hate dreams, probably because they have them as well.

Meanwhile Migs the dwarf announces he's about to release a book about sportswashing, bluemoon assumes this will be about Arsenal's Rwanda ethical arm deal, Liverpools money laundering shirt deal, and Utds links to the house of Saud (and Russian Aeroplanes)

Tune in next week for more crazy fun, when City will either be let off 115 charges, found guilty of 115 charges, or not know what's going on.
Excellent summary apart from the bolded bit ;) Presume you mean Stefan and Colin? I highly doubt Stefan loves Harris!

I can 100% confirm that we are absolutely not in the shit regarding certain aspects that may or may not have been discussed at length in the PL investigation, of which our lawyers know almost next to nothing and everything about, thereby proving our innocence regarding the original claim which hasn't yet been confirmed to be false, pending a full hearing of which we can catagorically deny may or may not turn out in our favour, depending on full interpretation of the results of the findings that could show that our dealings were above board at the time when they were legally acceptable yet could contrarily be seen as being underhanded, although this has not been confirmed.
Crystal clear that…thanks very much.

I had a feeling it was that before I even looked ;-), and it’s certainly questionable mate at the very least.

PSR being binned tomorrow according to the Guardian. 19 clubs in favour of going to the UEFA model. Next season will be transitional and it will fully change in 2025-6

Nobody seems to realise the UEFA model still has a break-even requirement (with allowable deviation limits).

The squad cost ratio is just one of three pillars in the model: the others are break-even and no overdue debts.

Unless they have changed it again, which wouldn't surprise me.
