Or that Stefan was inferring there could be something imminent this morning.

It'll be interesting how City fans react IF we are found guilty and it's proven.
Some will obviously back the club no matter what but there will also be many who will be annoyed at being lied to by the powers that be.

If we were to be found “guilty” it doesn’t mean we were. It just means that every time we took a course of action, the PL changed the rules to ensure we had transgressed. Then they amended them again to ensure the red cartel didn’t

Hope not because we’ll never hear the end of it if it is somewhere in between. We need full clearance (although not too bothered about a fine for non cooperation because we had good reason not to show our business dealings to a leaky PL)

I don't think City fans will be angry at all. Our club has been targeted, this has been the biggest witch hunt in football history. Innocent or guilty the Premier League must investigate every other Premier League club in the same manner, or this is genuine prejudice.

For me it does.

Same way if we're found not guilty it'll put to bed to me all the talk that we're cheats from rival fans and won't annoy me in the slightest again.

Sounds a bit Scouse, that. ‘We’re the victims, it’s not our fault’.

If we are found guilty because we are guilty, then we are guilty.

If that were to happen, I’d want wholesale change in the boardroom and shareholders made to sell their shares. I’d want the board members and shareholders punished in the harshest way possible. Afterall, it wouldn’t be the fans, players or managers’ fault the suits have been operating poorly and lying to everyone.

Hopefully, it doesn’t come to any of that.

If we are found not guilty then we are not guilty and all those who would be moaning from other clubs and saying we’ve paid them off would be wrong, because we are not guilty.

I do think we have to take into consideration everything the PL have done in order to make these accusations - to the detriment of the PL as a whole. Several clubs who really did need investigating were left to their own devices & to be honest, the examples we’ve read on here about how certain clubs “actions” were approved or written off stinks.

So I have to disagree with you. I think we’ve been set up big time.

And YES. I’d like to play the scousers “victim” card. It seems to work well

Deary me. The point was that contrary to some of the stuff on here, my pretty solid info was that as of this AM, the parties hadn’t had a decision. If that isn’t interesting to you, perhaps this thread is not for you.

I've given my view on this before. If the club is found guilty of the most serious stuff I won't be angry that the club did it, I will be angry the club allowed themselves to be found out.

The evidence required by the PL to prove their most serious allegations is of such a high level, that it would be absolutely negligent to allow them to access it. We aren't talking about allowing servers to be hacked and some emails to be published, which was bad enough actually, we are talking of the need for cogent evidence that Mansour paid money into Etihad, for example. It would be unconscionable for the PL to have had access to that sort of information which, by the way, is why it isn't going to happen.

Just one of the many reasons the PL will fail on the most serious charges, imho.

Some will bury their head in the sand in the same way other fans will if we are found not guilty. Thats just football fans for you though and means nothing.

If we are found guilty and proven without doubt about the serious stuff, it will fucking devastate me as everything we’ve done will forever be tainted. This, by the way if we see what has been proven without doubt.

Luckily for us all I’m confident in Khaldoon’s continued insistence we have done nothing wrong. He’s said it that many times no it must be true.

I will always believe the club over any whitch hunt, kangaroo court or bent American cartel.

UNLESS all clubs are investigated as deeply as City have been.
