PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Don't even know what to make of this. Is there some kind of clause in Pep's contract that prevents us from defending ourselves from false allegations
What do you mean?

This is going to take at least a couple of years to resolve one way or another, most likely after peps contract expires, that's all.

The core cause for this is obviously money. When we were taken over the message was (to paraphrase) to make the club the number 1 club in the country. This was ridiculed by the supporters, ex managers and journalists of mainly the historic top 5 clubs and those members of the G14 in Europe who had cut a deal with UEFA to head off a super league and retain the status quo whereby the same clubs in effect created a closed shop. How often were you told by some know it all rag " they'll soon get bored and you will be back where you were before " ? When this didn't materialise there was an obvious collusion between clubs led by the red tops to protect their income streams, status and to stop these upstarts from upsetting the proverbial apple cart. Nobody will convince any of us that those taking the moral high ground are really bothered about the workings of rival clubs as long as those other clubs don't earn more and don't impact on their cosy little club. Over the years the drip, drip of negativity has left us isolated, even when the then manager of the rags David Moyes stated that maybe their club needed to be more like Manchester City was met with derision and the likes of Roweta were wheeled out by the media to state that she was insulted and verged on screeching "we'll never be like them". So going back to money, it could be in this case who has the deepest pockets and how much each side is prepared to spend. Maybe the number of charges will be reduced and a deal is cut whereby lesser penalties are imposed or the club decide to fight this even this means having to go to the High Court and how much they are prepared to spend defending the club. By the same token the same can be said for the Premier League and how much they are prepared to spend before it becomes too much of a drain on their finances. Ideally after all this is over I hope the City and their owners go all out to expose the spiteful clubs even using their influence at Governmental level.
I think we should all be grateful we aren't remotely anything like Rowetta or the rags.

I just hope in that meantime City ban the bastards in the press that are pushing this story and the CL one from the Etihad. We don't want yes men we want fair decent reporting not having rats in our house eating the free scones and murdering us in their rags for the benefit of the cartel.

We could at the very least do that.
Let them have their fun, our time and theirs will come, this is a pivotal moment and maybe a long overdue shift in power, the Yanks are trying to take over our game, in my humble opinion, they need to be told, and pardon the language, but just fuck off back to the good old USA

Ian Herbert’s article about City is a disgrace.
Do as I’m doing, read nothing, watch nothing and listen to even less. The vile media are likely having their wet dream field day so don’t wind yourself up fella.

Stick to Bluemoon and ignore the rest. We’ve got our own fucking huge moat and no cunts getting through these castle walls. Fuck ‘em.

Sad but true mate, and it's become tiresome, if we get found not guilty it will because we have paid somebody off. I love the club but what is evident here is the PL and the game is corrupt , football is basically finished for me with all this shit, football should never be political, its all about what's on the pitch and nothing else should come into it. Creative accounting is part of any business, and there isn't a club in the land in any division that doesn't use legal loopholes. Why is it just us being dragged over the coals? Every club in the PL should be under scrutiny with the money involved.

If we are found not guilty, what type of mental gymnastics can rival clubs, their supporters and the media come up with when potentially the CAS and then the high court rule in City’s favour? If the club are bullish about it, bring it on the stench of piss boiling across the football world will be glorious.
