Didn't the PL apply some sort of FMV for the transfer of Savinho? It seems that all clubs are treated equally, but some are treated more equally than others.

Bring as much money into the PL as possible
Bring the best players to PL
Get owners to sign they will cover any debt and all players wages till end of their contracts.
It is really that simple
Sustainable and maintains PL is best in world.

Simply require an indemnity policy from Lloyd’s of London for every player’s contract. That way, no-one is relying on the scheissters and financial engineers that own most of these clubs for a penny when the proverbial hits the fan.
