PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Make of this what you will, but I've just been privy to some startling information that would blow the lid off PGMOL and the power brokers at the Premier League, if it became public. It involves a recording of a conversation between the match day referee and VAR official at a recent away match, a recording that is now in the hands of City.

It's my firm belief that City have compiled a dossier so incendiary, that the Premier League will have no choice but to totally exonerate the Club of any wrongdoing. If they don't, this is going nuclear. Either way, we hold all the cards and this explains why we're so bullish about the eventual outcome. The Premier League are on the back foot, and in my opinion, are currently lobbying the membership as to how best to quietly end the process. I have also been advised that at least one of the "Nasty 9" has had board level discussions with City, distancing themselves from the others in the cabal.

Pep's press conference tells us all we need to know. Watch it again, look at the anger and barely controllable rage in the mans eyes. His attitude wasn't based upon him being reassured about some poxy finances & bullshit charges, it was because he KNOWS exactly what is coming.

Sit back and enjoy the ride Blues.

I wouldn't believe these conversations were recorded or that the people involved were stupid enough if something dodgy was going on to let that get out. More likely one of those very good impersonators trying to hoodwink the club. Having said that some decisions regarding our games over the years have been so bad many of us suspected foul play. A few var decisions just lately involving other clubs have been awful too.

I pray against all odds this is true and if so we make it public knowledge. We made a mistake with the way we handled the scouse vermin hacking us which let them off basically. They've labelled us cheats for years so to prove beyond doubt that they are the cheats should be used fully.

Thanks Tolm, I sense a more proactive style, not to decry Vicky but right now we need to be more aggressive. What’s your view on this ?

Vicky was more involved with the CFG and never really got involved with the boots on the ground stuff.

Simon Heggie always tries to fight our corner but maybe he now has a bigger mandate to start killing people!!

This "information" is all about getting the PL to drop the case , and a statement saying that after all the facts and documents we have we no longer have a case against MCFC.
The thought of this coming into the public domain would have them shitting themselves, we may have other goodies aswell you never know.
I am far from sure that The PL can drop the case. The “ Independent Commission “ is now just that. Its task has been set and it’s work is no doubt in train.

I can understand why you good people are thirsting for the PL to be challenged but think this through if City for instance said “ We have information which we are going to put in the public domain if you carry on with the commission “

There is no doubt that a match official and VAR have an open line of communication but sorry I am not buying into all this

If you have a top secret dossier full of kompromat, you don't wait until you've been very publicly charged with 115 offences and had your reputation destroyed in the media before using it.

I’m not commenting on the veracity of the claim, as frankly I have no idea if it’s true or not - but it does seem very clear from City’s response and statement last week that the timing of the PL’s move caught them by surprise.

It’s clear we weren’t expecting it to land when it did, so any plan we might have had on how/when to release would have been thrown by an unanticipated move on the part of the PL.

Hope the auditors have insurance, because if they colluded to hide stuff and signed off knowingly……. nah, not happening. The end.

No disrespect intended, but we‘ve been hearing this on and off for the last 5 years, without said dossier ever appearing……..

For the sake of an audit contract with City... I mean, we're hardly a corporate behemoth. I'd be surprised if they make more than £100k a year out of us.

Merry christmas and happy valentine’s day.

Clear & organised is the phrase that comes to mind.

We all know deep down that city were being shafted. Cover it up by calling us militant nut jobs and incompetent Refs.

If this info is real, should we have a case closed statement by the 23rd! So not long to wait.
I'd be putting Attwell's display at Leeds under the microscope.

We got kicked all over that 1st half, one Leeds player fouling jack three times, other fouls missed, then low and behold first foul ffrom us yellow.

Don't care if people say i'm being para but he got told to ref that game a certain way by the powers that be, it was abysmal.

Edit.

Here you go, Rico first challenge and a yellow.
