PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

And to put doubt into the minds of players we want to sign.

Whether it's a positive or negative is debateable but it's fair to say the 115 changed Jude and Declan's minds at the very least.
Disagree with your second para. Jude’s dad is a dyed in the wool dipper and Declan wanted to stay in London. I don’t think the charges really came into it. But who really knows?
You are right that they are partly designed to put players off.

Even if we were found not guilty 115 times the government wouldn’t allow them to inform the public because the amount of piss being boiled would burn a hole in the ozone layer big enough to render the planet uninhabitable within hours.
There would be enough steam off that amount of boiling piss to run all the power station turbines for the rest of this century.

Here mate probably - Tolmie been alluding about it for ages too
It also squares with what @Manchester33 heard directly from a contact within the club - that some charges were effectively dead in the water before the hearing started. Whether the IC would’ve still spent time discussing them at the hearing is another matter - and my guess is that they would still have to consider them as some kind of box-ticking exercise - but the club were super confident about the outcome of those, just as they are about the whole thing.

Of course, they might’ve misjudged it badly, and Stefan always says you never know for sure even if you have what looks like a slam dunk of a case, but I don’t think they would put out noises as emphatic as that if they thought it was 50-50.

If we do get cleared of all the main charges, I’m still expecting the IC to give the PL a token win on the non-cooperation charges to save them from total humiliation.

Mate the whole 115 charges are dead in the water.
We have done nothing wrong. We know that. Masters knows it.
The media know it. The red cartel know it.

I fully expect something to break about the 115 to go alongside the news of Pep extending.
All the charges are completely baseless assertions, to use the PL's own words. The most likely ones to have been dead in the water are the Etihad sponsorship ones, which were comprehensively dealt with by CAS. The very little I've heard is the same people gave the same evidence to the PL tribunal on our behalf, as they did at CAS.

What a waste of time and resources ....
