PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I can't imagine ANY British government would want to complicate relations in strategically very sensitive areas of the world by forcing diplomats, members of government etc etc etc to sell their football clubs. I'm sure that a LABOUR government, if it wished to interfere in matters of ownership, would rather single out tax dodgers and those who register their clubs in the Cayman islands or such places or devastate areas in the interests of their club rather than those who seek to use a football club as a force to regenerate and revitalise areas to make the city even more of a thriving, teeming metropolis.

Didn't read it fully, but saw the part saying 'State owned' Newcastle and City ... hmm.
"A state-controlled club is one which is wholly or majority-owned by individual(s), entities, or entities controlled by individual(s) who are deemed by the IFR or the secretary of state to be under the influence of any state actor, including but not limited to: members of any government or their immediate family, a head of state or their immediate family, diplomats, lobbyists, or other state representatives, or their immediate family, and sovereign wealth funds."
In other words Sheikh Mansour : )

I only posted the article just show the lengths they are trying to go to to try and stop us.
It will never stop while we're successful.
FFP, 115, PSR, this crap...
Can't wait to see what they come up with next.
'Teams with Manchester and City in their names cannot be allowed to finish higher than 13th.

I see that it's "Rainbow Laces" week in the PL. There's a quote from Masters on the PL app supporting the initiative.
Whilst it's commendable that the PL and the member clubs are highlighting the issue of homophobia, it doesn't seem to sit well while they are actively encouraging Islamaphobia in terms of club ownership.

We shouldn't be getting involved in this type of politics either, I want to go and watch a match not listen to a message telling me not to be a ****.

Nothing about YANK leeches that have sucked our game dry then tried conspiring to take the game from the UK to an ESL?

Just to be clear because the press are playing their games again to get cartel fans giddy:

It's just a proposal for an amendment to the upcoming Football Governance Bill. So it's not come from the PL, it's not come from the independent regulator, it's not even come from an mp. It's come from Labour peer Lord Bassam of Brighton. I've no interest in politics so I've never heard of him, thought he was one of those who just get a seat because of their titles... but I see from his wiki he was involved in an expenses scandal in 2017. Is it too tinfoil hat to wonder if the cartel could be attempting to buy a voice from peers, to get some of their own amendments in? Just as they apparently did with the original FFP regs, that were presented at European Parliament in 2010.

Well good luck trying to get investors from the Middle East ‘if’ this goes through.
Wonder if we can have Sheikh Mansour’s dog listed as our owner? lol
So ... I get this is clickbait bollocks based on a nutcase peer.

But for the sake of argument, what does this twunt want to happen?

If City were told to change owners, and HRH SM told them to F-Off and refused to sell, then a 125 year old football club would cease to exist.
