PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I get it but why has the exhaustion kicked in now.

We can’t deny that it is coincidental timing.

Coincidences happen. That's where conspiracy theories come from.

Personally, I think it's a consequence of accumulated injuries over years, playing players the last couple of years when not fully fit and an unfortunate (possibly consequential) spate of injuries this year all at the same time.

The signs were there in the Cup final. Players had hauled themselves to the title and were on their last legs physically and emotionally in the final. It seems to me they haven't recovered yet.

Add to that an over-reliance by Guardiola on certain (naturally older) favoured players and a reluctance to try academy players and it's a perfect storm. But like all storms, it will pass.

We will make top four and the CL play-offs, no problem.

Actually, I feel a bit like the players. Absolutely shattered after the last four years of panicking throughout each game about every result. It will be nice to have a year where we can lose a few games and it "doesn't matter". Back to full stress levels next year :)

The drop off in form is an age thing. It coincided with not only rodri being out but dias then getting injured. Our spine has effectively been wiped out this season so far. Dias got injured against Tottenham in the cup which is when this rut started. This team has missed leadership in dias rodri. Phils not been himself along with Kev not being able to play much.... add in we now have the 4th oldest team in the league with probably one of the oldest midfield which is the engine room of any team.

Not related to the 115 in my opinion but just a culmination of injuries. Age. And quality. It might do us well to have a year off. Liverpool arsenal ect have all had years off recently despite winning less than us in the same time period.

Think it's a bit like peps first season where a few players who have been great servants for us will go in the summer. Realistically over the next 2. I'd imagine Kev. Gundo. Kova. Walker. Stones. Ake. Eddie. Bernie.... add in potentially nunes and grealish.

There's lots of change coming. And a new era beginning with pep at the helm.

In terms of 115 that alice woman use to work for goldbridge on that united stand crap. They've realised mentioning our charges will get them interaction and clicks... it's last chance saloon to make money of it given it soon will be decided and gone away. (Think in our favour too). They've got nothing else to hold onto then except looking at the failures of their own clubs. They don't like it when teams challenge them and know them off their spots. It's why Newcastle and villa have been targeted with ffp ect to stop them getting that top 4 money every season because it deprives certain red shirts.

I've reported the **** for wumming I suggest others do the same.

If he's allowed to continue posting shit on this thread then he's getting it big time, even if that means a thread ban for me.

I'm not having some **** coming on here taking the piss.

Yeah let's leave the wumming for the mard arses on the political threads :)

To be honest IF we were to be successful with the charges case with everything the club and supporters have consequently been dragged through I would be just as euphoric as any of the trophy wins we have had in the last 14 years.
The amount of piss boiling would be off the scale.

I think he's been flirted off here mate.

Such a shame :)

Anyone who thinks this dip in form is down to the charges has been gaslit into that by the media and/or supporters of other clubs.

It’s all football related. Injuries, poor form, the inexorable ageing process and a consequent drop in confidence are what this is about; it’s fuck all to do with the charges.

Goldbridge and Alice. Two of the strongest Mancunian accents you will hear. Utter reptiles.
