PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Well if the hearing goes against us let's hope that we have enough shit on other clubs and the PL itself to bring the whole fucking thing down around its ears. If other clubs can get access to our emails, scouting systems and whatever else, I'm sure that we have been doing the same and with the amount of money at our disposal, this could be some really serious and more covert digging around than the dippers and the rest of the cartel could ever imagine. This could end up being more catastrophic damage wise for those who have in for us than what they could do to us themselves. The gloves would certainly be off and we would be up for the fight no doubt.
I don’t know why we agreed to keep it quiet when the dippers hacked our scouting system.
I guess hindsight is great but wish we exposed them for the thieving cunts they are.

I don't know if this means anything at all in relation to our case, it might be irrelevant, but just felt it's worth adding as he chaired our hearing which is currently awaiting a verdict.

Edit - it was a five year tenure which is ending in the new year. So nothing out of the ordinary. Still worthy of adding to discussion, perhaps.

I'm not sure if he actually chaired our hearing himself, he just got to appoint the chair. He could well have chosen himself, but don't think we ever found out definitively?

Ah sorry, a complete misunderstanding on my part then if that's the case.

Well, this narrative that a 'red cartel'/'PL cabal' assembled in an under ground bunker, and created FFPR to stop Arab owners, could not be further from the truth. The Glazers, Gillet & Hicks, Kroenke & Lerner did not want anyone snooping around in their financials, especially after saddling those clubs with huge debts from LBO's and asset stripping for their own financial gain. And Arsenal had just spent 1 billion on a new stadium. Abramovic was definitely not in favour of financial regulation, either.

FFPR came from France and Germany. It was not created here. The only reason why it was adopted so wholeheartedly by the PL, was to stop their prized assets from being bought out by American businessmen and hedge funds trying to make a quick buck. They feared that if enough American owners could get a strangle hold over the league, then the possibility of a European Super league would be unstoppable. And it almost did happen. FFPR was the only thing that they could use to put them off. They also tried to get a law passed that LBO's had to be approved by the minister for sport.

Post history indicates a rag pretending to be a City fan.

What a strange answer.
You should try it. Maybe on a temporary basis. A change is as good as a rest. Seeing as you're in East Manchester, you're not that far from Leeds. You could support them while they are winning and gain promotion. Then, you can come back to City next year, totally refreshed, when the charges are done with and City have all new players. That will be just in time for when Leeds start getting hammered again, in the Premier League.

What a stupid opening sentence. Of course there’s no underground bunker. It was all done in plain. Who did the PL hawk Scudamore around for approval? They went through the front doors of Old Trafford, Anfield and Emirates for every fucker to see if they cared to look. Nice try.
