PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

“Retailate”? Interesting choice of word from City. Imo it either means

1. We’re going to appeal (although whether that would be described as “retaliating” I’m not sure).

2. We’ve battered them and are now going to buy all the players this nonsense has prevented us from buying and are going on another trophy winning rampage as “retaliation”.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?
I think number 2 is looking good.
And will look good when we carry it out.

We could start "retaliating" by banning some of the press cunts from the etihad instead of serving them tea and cakes.

Because in the end it's going to come down to the opinion of 3 folks on a panel based on what is set forth before them.
Even if we appeal, as with any court, the right decision is strived for but never guaranteed.
You can be innocent and appear to be guilty or vice versa.
There are not many avenues for appeal. Just one within the PL procedures.
City was offered a deal by UEFA and said no, even though City knew it was going to be found in breach of financial regulations by UEFA and put its faith in an independent panel where the evidence would be considered fittingly
This case is pretty much the same

Gary Cook wouldve tipped the apple cart over and set fire to the rain rather than accept the organised and premeditated shit thats come the clubs way.

He'd have put Mario in charge of media & PR ,with Nigel de Jong head of security.

Cookie wouldve been great fun and the ticket prices would've been sorted yonks ago. !!

Is that the same gary cook that appointed Wayne rooney as Birmingham manager?
And sent all season ticket holders on L2 a letter that assured them that L2 wasn’t going to become a corporate offering

For me it’s not the retaliate. The journalist can add that for drama.

But if the club has said the 115 charges aren’t an issue that would lead me to believing that we’ve annihilated them at the hearing.

Could also just be trying to get a positive narrative out to reassure potential signings. But they can do that in private I guess.

Let’s hope we’ve battered them.
