PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Well for a start he could have come to a press conference at the start of the season and responded to the usual suspects in the same manner as he did to David Clayton
He could have also insisted that any journalist asking Pep about the allegations would be automatically banned.
Anything to prove that he was on our side.
Khaldoon will not speak to the press as they will twist his answers to suit their agenda
He gives his end of season interviews to CityTv because that can be controlled, its held at his home and is conducted by Chris Bailey
City are contracted to give access to journalists as part of the PL rules and can’t ban them just because the club don’t like the questions

Yes, Ian Cheeseman has told a poster on Bluemoon that we will Get a 40 point deduction. This has Been denied by several posters on Bluemoon.

I am so pissed of that this clown Ian Cheeseman is still talking about this without being clear.

I don't believe that City have seriously breached the rules and certainly not to a worse extent than many other clubs would be found to have done if they were subjected to the same level of scrutiny as we have been. I have much less confidence in the EPL judicial procedures. So in the first instance I would expect an appeal. If that appeal were rejected and our legal advisors thought that it was still a perverse judgement not supported by the evidence then I would expect that a way could be found to take the matter to the civil courts. If no way to do that could be found or if that failed I imagine CFG would have a plan B.

Probably they would plan to rebuild from whatever division they found themselves in, maybe with a notional change in ownership. If in the Championship then I imagine they would be back quite quickly.

If they found themselves in a worse position than that then I wonder if CFG would transfer their centre of operations elsewhere whilst they rebuilt City.. Perhaps Girona, some favourable transfers with buy back clauses could preserve the nucleus of a new squad. Meantime La Liga would perhaps outshine the EPL in terms of sponsorship and TV deals as it became more competitive.

In any event I think that City would come back, perhaps even stronger, within four or five years.

The question one has to ask is could or would the people who own this club given their wealth and political status be reckless and desperate enough to breach rules to the extent they are being accused of doing? And doing so in a manner that could be proven in a formal hearing? The fact that it's required the most expensive lawyers on both sides of the argument to litigate these accusations for this length of time is a bit eye catching, on both sides. It's either here's what you did and here's the proof or fuck off where's your proof?
I can't see any world in which the club would leave itself this vulnerable to such charges, but if they have to an extent it can be proven that they've willfully breached the rules we as supporters would have to be infuriated with our owners to a level that I'd want them incarcerated (not happening) or at the very least forced to forfeit their ownership. The idea that as Blues we'd go again is obvious but not with this ownership group. Not for me. For all of our sakes these men better prove themselves to be not guilty of any of these shenanigans. A guilty verdict would for me be a betrayal of our trust of epic proportions. Here's to praying it never comes to that.

I understand what you are saying, We are talking about Royal Families and political status being called cheaters

But the rules and FFP were setup to stop Manchester City and the endless Personal Wealth from being used.
Then it changed again to sponsorship and connecting deals being overinflated and a sort of a money Laundering way of getting money through the accounts

it's a funny old game, City should not have settled with taking a fine from Uefa, it is a sort of admitting we did something wrong and left the door open for the cheat's claims still hanging around

We should have killed off any doubt and walked away cleared once and for all

It's the first time I have ever thought what if we are guilty
These last couple of months have been so strange and hard to understand even with an injury-hit squad or players burnt out or nothing left in the tank, it's been a very big drop-off and all around the club the feeling is not right.

Now the Question.. What if we are found guilty
Will the fans understand a hard punishment and be demoted, Do I even dare I say it ? trophies and titles removed from the history books and other clubs taking us to court for loss of earnings and prize money.

I feel it could end badly and Manchester City will be finished or will be so punished the damage will be terminal.
For the first time, it crossed my mind what about the FANS in all of this and where do we go, All this is a mess, and it's starting to affect how I feel, The fans are the ones who had no control over all this and sadly we are the ones who will suffer the most, I don't think that anybody has thought what about the fans

Look I will back my club and Khaldoon AI Mubarak, he's the one who has been saying we have done nothing wrong over and over again and season after season, BUT what else would he say,

It's up to the Premier League to find us guilty.
They're accusing us of all these allegations therefore they need to prove that we've indeed been guilty of fraud and inaccurate figures.
Good luck to them finding something as we're on about 7 or 8 years of being accused and all UEFA and Masters seem to pinning their hopes on is some doctored emails, which by the way provided absolutely nothing apart from belly laughs.

Over to you the Premier League, good luck finding absolutely fuckall.

A guilty verdict finishes us

Not only the punishment and relegation and fines and other clubs being allowed to sue us for lost of earnings and prize money but sanctions will be added and spending caps added.
