PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If city is indeed guilty of cheating
What will people do

Do you think you will still support the club ?
Who in their right mind would stop supporting the club. The cards have been stacked against us from the start so even if they have bent the rules I'm fully behind them however this turns out and I expect the majority of City fans will see it the same way.

I actually got a Jonny 7 when I was about 9 years old ( yes I’ve heard em all) fuk knows how my parents paid for that.

Strictly for the old fuckers in here
Johnny Seven OMA. (One Man Army).
I always wanted one ,but that twat Father Christmas ignored all those letters that I used to write to him and brought me a James Bond spy outfit instead. The tight fucker !!!

Don’t think we can accuse our owners of trying to take our club off us. Unlike the Glazers, they take nothing out & put everything they can in!!
They certainly do but we will be here no matter what.
I didn't say they were taking our club but they are custodians and nothing more

People label it as cheating but it's not really is it? It's trying to work with ever changing financial rules and restraints that were bum.rushed through to stall our progress. Rules that didn't exist when the redshirts were the biggest kids on the block and spending more than everybody else. As soon as they were challenged the new rules came in. So far only the premier league has been PROVED to have acted illegally. Cheating is buying off officials or players from other clubs to influence results in our favour. Of course deep down even our fiercest critics know this, but instead of admitting we've just done everything better than them on and off the field and played magnificent football doing so, it eases their own minds by calling us cheats. It gives them an excuse for their abject failure. Hope that's clarified it for you.

The Bundesliga and Ligue 1 had a huge hand in creating FFP. They already had a version of it built into the structure of their 2 leagues, and they were starting to feel disadvantaged with La Liga, the Premier league and Serie A clubs being able to snap up the worlds best players while not having any of the funds available. They only needed Platini to agree and he did.

The Premier league at the time had a combined club debt of 3.3bn. Which had seen Leeds and Portsmouth going into administration with West Ham and Everton teetering on the verge of it. Then you had the leveraged buyouts of LFC & MUFC which saddled debt onto the two biggest clubs in England. This was massive news at the time, and the Premier League had no plans or strategy to combat this. They were lobbying the sports minister for help. Then enter Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Michel Platini from stage left, with the FFPR handbook, and the rest is history.

With respect, the very notion that a man of Khaldoon’s international standing would take on the role of City Media Officer for the day just to appease some fans, is frankly absurd.
C’mon Ric.
If Trump, the leader of the free world, can work in McDonald’s for a day, it’s the least we could expect of Khaldoon.

No-one knows anything apart from maybe the lawyers who will have an inkling from how the hearing has gone. The players certainly don't have a clue, if they did so would all their agents and the press.

If there is a any credence to the 40 point thing (which I doubt) it would be unlikely to come into effect until next season at the earliest due to the time it takes to appeal by which time due to the return of Rodri and some other signings we will be in a much better position to withstand it without any huge impact (maybe a season out of Europe). Ironically we will be probably be left with effectively the same sanction as UEFA imposed on us in 2020.

I have it on good authority that as a result of Chinese whispers the origin of the 40 point deduction was that during a break an internal city auditor was asked to check the petty cash tin of our legal team.

Seems it contained very few bills but 40 IOUs that were still outstanding.
These were numbered and clipped together and instructions to Lord P that those pointed IOUs would be totalled and would be deducted from the weekly total cash from genuine bills.

Seemingly Lord P had a whip round but still needs a few petrol bills etc to get the Petty Cash tin functioning again as a source of ready cash.

A simple misunderstanding that took up the first address by Lord P on that Monday return.
I was accused of fraud once due to the dealings around a petty cash tin
