PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Fair enough. Everyone can draw their own conclusions from what we think we know.

And for what it's worth, if your conclusion is that the PL won't be able to prove the club breached the FFP limits for 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18, then I think that is most probably correct.

But I do think the lawyers on here, if they were so inclined, would be able to point out many mistakes in the rest of your analysis. In particular about the Section W process, the seriousness of the first tranche of allegations and the likely punishments if those were to be proven.

I am not a lawyer though, thank God, so I really don't have the strength to go through it all again. If you doubt it, look at me .....

oi, i own the copyright to that , i want likeness rights lol

We got the bus to the ground, but after the match we weren't going through the same shit show again and chanced the Metro. We were crammed on with Inter fans, but they were sound to be fair to them.
We waltzed there and back on Metro. Fucking fantastic night, finishing with a bevvy in the hotel after we’d woken up the barman at 6am. Watching the sunrise on the Bosporus with my best mate and my son. Pure magic.

Is that the same pipe featured in the @gordondaviesmoustache figure? If so, I hope you washed it

Not sure if you’re aware mate, but the FAQ you are questioning was written by a lawyer & halfcenturyup is a former finance chap

You’ve told them they’ve not understood or they’ve posted misleading elements

Can I ask, are you a layman like most of us, or do you have experience of arbitration & finance like the 2 posters you’ve questioned?
So are you saying people with a background in law or finance can't make mistakes?
I am not getting involved myself as I am not in a position to say who is right on this one.

I was convinced once all this started that the case against the club was never going to succeed apart from gaslighting our achievements.

Now the tribunal is taking its time to return a favourable result for both parties. 115 grew too big to ignore which is a double edged sword. The negative attacks from the imbecile red masses was expected but also drove this case to cross football boundaries and spill into all aspects of life which has put the members on the panel in a very erm sticky situation to find a way out.

A nice quiet day over the summer it will drop and no one will be ready to angrily respond as the season will have ended. Well apart from spit head and failed manager hehe chuckle.

Bent as fook -:)

Nope, but when someone is categorically telling posters with experience in both law & finance that they’re wrong (especially seeing as all the known finance & law personnel on BM seem to agree), I’m first of all wondering if they’re aware of posters background, then wondering what their work experience is

And that in a nutshell is what it is all about, not the quinoa pies and the celebrity beer announced by club cBBC presenter types.

Going to watch a big match with your nearest and dearest, the adventure and the thrill. What a picture mate!

Quicker to elect a pope than it is to sort out this 115 mess.

Conclave? This biblical process has nothing on the secrecy between the league and its clubs.

They did it quicker than football authorities decided a time for the FA cup final :)

Personally I think all views are welcome. Or else should you be questioning him, are you qualified enough? Should I be questing you?

People should be able to add input, he was polite etc. And it adds another pov that might be valid or might not be.

I completely agree mate, I’ve never said any different, all views are welcome

I’m merely curious, so have asked a question

Not sure why you think my post is insinuating otherwise, maybe it’s the way I’ve written it, maybe it’s the way you’ve read it, either way, we’re in agreement

Of course anybody can question anything, but when three or four lawyers on here generally agree on a position and the two or three accountants who have been brave enough to admit it and step forward generally support that position, I think it's fair to assume that it's more likely than not to be a justifiable position. Generally, no accountant likes to agree with a lawyer .....

Maybe when I have more time I can point out some of the areas where I think the analysis is wrong and then we can discuss them.
