Last reply because I’m starting to think you’re taking the piss.

It is correct that once both parties receive the ruling the chances of it leaking increase - I mean it’s fairly uncontroversial that the more people know something the higher the likelihood other people will find out.

Two things to take from Stefan’s tweet that should be obvious.

1) Given the embargo suggested by Stefan is 48 hours to a week, clearly no journalists knew what the outcome was, or the timeline, earlier this year.

2) And building on point one. Stefan says the risk of leaks increases when the ruling is known by both parties. ie, no journalist will sit on this story if they know what the outcome is. Therefore we can be absolutely sure they do not know the result.

The fact you’ve posted Stefan’s tweet as a gotcha suggests you don’t really don’t understand the situation.

I'm also thinking press release. We build a new press box a couple of hundred feet above the centre circle and release Slimy Stone and his mates before kick-off. Gravity will do the rest.

That's what usually happens in these sort of hearings. Both sides are given a chance to make corrections. Just basic errors not any part of the legal content laid down by the Judges. There is a strict agreement a bit like a non disclosure agreement. Anything leaked would be treated very seriously. It is not usually a long period as Stefan has indicated perhaps 48 hours or a bit more. In my experience a statement was given out on a Friday geared up for general release to the public on the Monday. There is less chance of anything leaking out over the weekend because offices are closed and less staff are around. Some of the CAS details slipped out (probably from City staff) to Ian Cheesman didn't they.

Think you should Google devil's advocate.
I find the best thing to do is look at something from every angle and keep an open mind.
Especially when I'm not very clued up on the matter.

Apologies if I’m coming across as dismissive.

You don’t have to believe what I’m telling you, but honestly I do know what I’m talking about and there’s no devil’s advocate needed.

I would go further than previous, if any journalist out there knows the outcome and is sitting on it, they would at best be the laughing stock of their profession for the rest of their career and at worst possibly face disciplinary action from their employer.

It’s difficult to overstate how unlikely it is that a journalist would not publish an exclusive on the biggest story in British football history.

One thing I look at
Pep calling out Daniel Levy after the charges were announced
3 possibly reasons for me
1 Pep said premier league CEO 's wanted us punished and named Levy because that's the only one he knew by name
2, bad feelings, Levy said he had our pants down on the price of Kyle walker transfer and then our pursuit Harry Kane
3 Pep believes Levy was a main player in getting us charged.
Might be other reasons, but that's me trying to look at all the angles

I haven’t seen anyone say that, tbh. Obviously the club, and indeed the PL, will have an idea how the hearing went from their legal representatives. Thats not the same as knowing the official verdict though.
