Be nice if we got all the tough away fixtures (top 6) before Christmas with no fans, nah smell the coffee ain't going to happen.

They have every other season, so why not this one as well?

Pretty much guaranteed.

If they can fuck about with VAR & manipulate the out come in real time imagine what they'll do out of sight to do is over.

They want their red shit clubs and TV fan boys front & centre.

They will want LittlewoodsNeverCenturiansPool Furlough FC as back to backers & The Evictors/Rancid Meat Sellers in the mix.

Scudermore wanted a different winner each season......as long as they play in red !!

These shithouses are shameful & shameless !!

The carabao cup semi final is one off game. I hope it's going to be in a neutral venue with the easiest travel arrangements for the clubs involved rather than Wembley.

Be a good gesture to choose neutral EFL grounds for the ties.

Purely due to space in the calendar. Any postponements (weather or Covid) and I genuinely think there will be teams that have to play 4 games a week.

Unless there are contingency plans (none announced), Spurs have to play Carabao Cup games on a Tuesday/Wednesday, then Europa League qualifier on Thursday in for Round 3 and 4. If we win CL, then we'll have to do the same with Super Cup for one round (United if they win EL have same issue).

Fuck knows how we'll catch up if we win the CL and go to World Club Cup, bearing in mind we would already have games to catch up from the beginning of the season. We could have 3/4 games in hand before Christmas.

20/21 is going to be insane. Our players (and staff) not having a proper break means we're at a huge disadvantage to Liverpool before next season starts.

we won't win the CL so that's sorted for us :)

Also, i am sure they announced teams still in Europe and going further in the competition will be allowed more time off so games will be delayed ultimately for those involved for the start of the new season.

What are people's thoughts on what is the fairest way to do this?

1) Do it the same way it's always been done.
2) Take into consideration no fans for a part of the season and base it around that.
3) something different altogether.

With option 2 in mind I'm thinking fixtures would be almost double headers, ie 1st and 2nd are paired so City play Liverpool twice before November* or twice after that date. Both games will be played in either empty or full stadia. You could match the teams up by final position, so 1st play 3rd, 5th, 7th etc in the first half and play 2nd, 4th, 6th etc in the second half.

Either way some club's are going to be unhappy.

* November could be January, just an indicative date.

I would go for option one and just suck up any bad luck if in the unlikely event stadiums are packed at some stage next season.
