Places To Watch The QPR Game In Abu Dhabi

If you go to <a class="postlink" href="http://www.nrg-sportscafe.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.nrg-sportscafe.com/</a> you may meet with our Abu Dhabi OSC members
But I don't sure about the week if they will be there. Ther is still nothing updated on here <a class="postlink" href="http://abudhabiblues.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://abudhabiblues.com/</a>

If you want to meet with local fans, you should go to <a class="postlink" href="http://www.abudhabiweek.ae/component/content/article/63-restaurant-reviews/5753-the-clubhouse?directory=76&Itemid=76" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.abudhabiweek.ae/component/co ... &Itemid=76</a>
This is how the event looks like <a class="postlink" href="http://skybluenewsuae.com/landingpages/April/lp_derby_fanzone_E.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://skybluenewsuae.com/landingpages/ ... one_E.html</a>
Beer is also available, be my quest.

Pretty sure Abu Dhabi's 'Heart of the City' bar is in that hotel. NRG if my memory serves me right.

Alternatively you can contact Darren Ball through abudhabiblues.com if you want to know what the rest of them down there are up to for that game.

I had a look at NRG, looks good but its in Le Méridien Tourist Club Area according to TimeoutAbuDhabi.com.

NRG was the bar we all went to after the UAE v City game, but all you should have to do is find a decent bar and ask, I'm sure it will be on all over the place. Don't expect it to be on in your hotel room though, not all 'premium channels' are distributed. There are Blues in Abu Dhabi that pop on here from time to time (SO4?), you should get the answer in time. Other than that I can't really suggest anywhere, 6 years in UAE and didn't stay in Abu Dhabi for one single night.

nrg bar is the place, its in the meridan courtyard with another bar called captains bar which has happy hours 4pm to 7pm,3 nicker a pint theres also a nightclub 50 yds away which is very handy for a chinese takeaway at about 40 quid if you get my drift......enjoy.....

There is a sports bar in the basement of the Crowne Plaza on Ramdan st (not the one on Yas island), a big screen and several little ones, as you go in the reception area it's to the left of the escalators, they show all the City games and can get a few blues in too.

Both hotels are in the same area so you can go there no problem. Alternatively, there's an Irish bar in your hotel. It'll definitely be on in there.

If you want a unique Abu Dhabi experience, you could try this: <a class="postlink" href="http://skybluenewsuae.com/Fan_Zone/September1/invite_en.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://skybluenewsuae.com/Fan_Zone/Sept ... te_en.html</a>

I've never been to one of the fanzones though so can't vouch for them. I'd stick to the pubs if I was you.
