@Saddleworth2 sorry for the delay but I've been waiting for a reply from the European Tea Towel Association.Hmmm. What about Owls constructed through geometric pattern?
Would they be a sub classification?
Under current rules they would still be classed as picture tea towels and therefore disqualified. They do however accept that some tea towels wish to self identify

I think there is an inherent danger of stereotyping tea towels.
I have a non binary tea towel.
