Plan To Save Michael Johnson

Any time anyone sees him, take a pic of him having a drink and post it on here...if the rumours are true we'll get a load of pics together which might shame him into getting his head down!

A similar thought to my own. I'm not arsed with what the lad does to himself. A gifted player should never bring ruin to his gift.

However, this particular idea is quite sound in its principle.

I'm not sure his drinking is as bad as some might portray or think, I just think the lad has lost his way.

The last I heard about Johnson (from a well connected journo) was about a year ago. That person said that the then management at the time (Sven etc) thought Johnson was getting too big for his boots and needed to knuckle down. I don't think anything has changed, the lad still needs to knuckle down and fulfill his potential. He might be a legend in his own mind but he needs to show everyone what he can do on the pitch.

URG's right, Jonno's drinking 'problem' isn't as bad as people percieve on here, he's not an alcoholic or a real heavy drinker. The reason he isn't training, and why he isn't playing, is purely down to himself. For example, a few 'colds', 'coughs', 'groin strains', all of which, he feels, are keeping him out of action and mean he has to stay at home, rather than train.

There have been alot of blues who post on here who have seen him out boozeing, So next time anyone of us see him out drinking go up and smack him. If we keep doing it he will get scared to go out and then will get fit again and win us the league!!!!

Love it -proper Manchester solution to his problem.I believe there may even be a scientific/psycological basis for this kind of treatment called aversion therapy.So every time he drinks he gets a good slap -so he associates a bloody nose, bruises and general facial disfigurement with drinking alcohol .Hopefully this will make the taste of booze not so sweet!!!!

I think TBH the idea is just a bit of fun, I certainly wouldn't go hitting some person i didn't know for no reason anyway. Only idiots and numbskulls do that.
