Plans for 2026

As 2025 draws to an end at what’s been a mixed year on a personal note, just wondering what people have planned for next year.
My daughters cheerleading seems to be taking over our lives and bank account so next year is a tightening belts time as we need a new bathroom.
The interior of my van will be done by March so I’m off exploring our beautiful country a few days a month at least with the dogs going for long walks in places I’ve never been.
Holiday to Turkey in October and that’s it, trying to save for a bathroom but also enjoy the year a bit. Hopefully watching City pick up a few trophies on the way.

Finally reach a level of fitness I've pushed for this year but not quite achieved (a dry January should help).

Sort some bits out around the house while trying to save money elsewhere.

Squeeze in a couple of nice holidays and continue to enjoy the kids as they grow up (too quickly)!

Get a new job and move back to the North West. I want be a lot nearer to friends and family.

Following my knee op in October, get properly strengthening it and recover my fitness

Daughter number two moves out end of February, which means we can start clearing the house ready to put it on the market

And I plan to retire in 2027. I need to get all my finances in order
My employer has no idea I'm ready to pack it all in. I'm on a plod along at work for the next twelve months
