Excellent suggestion from the OP.
Just to try and attempt to persuade the press that we are not ruining football, I think we should release Platt, with minimal fuss and let a young British manager take over a leading English club.

I know one person who will be pissed off and that is Hughes as he had his eye firmly on this job when the rumours started about MON leaving in the summer.

Platty needs to go before the season starts as it gonna be really confusing for the kids at home games with him and moonbeam and moonchester all walking about before games. The kids will think we have 3 moonhead themed mascots.
