As an unashamed, tubthumping Mancini in-er, I have to say the appointment of Platt is probably his biggest mistake and one which will come back to haunt him.

In all honesty, there is a lot to be said for people being at the club who are NOT emotionallly attached. The key surely is their professionalism. As long as you are a preofessional, it shouldn't matter who you supported as a kid.

I don't remember Lee Dixon not playing his heart out against City.

With all his international, top-level and European playing experience! And of course all these players we have and will be buying will really respect and want to listen to someone they have probably never, ever heard of who mostly plied his trade in the lower divisions of the English league!

But he's 'blue through and through' and probably wears city underpants and has a city duvet cover so is the best man for the job

Even though his stint as a manager/coach was a disaster and Kidds stint as a coach/manager was also a disaster,just give them some time for the sake of stability.They might come good one day.Baconface was 1 game from the sack y'know.

Haha top post, I often wonder when people post shit like "goater for coaching job" if they have any clue what the fuck there on about, or are dropping a massive worm on a hook, but there is deffo some dinglers and danglers on here
