Still don't like the man for his past (and subsequent comments etc) but you cannot deny what that goal meant tonight. Credit where it's due etc.

Agree....I think Platt was a a great hire, and his reaction to the goal was one of a man committed to the cause.

platt looks to have been a great appointment by mancini, up there with kidd. when he gets his a4 paper thingy out before each subsitition he looks cool as fuck. tthe players even look like theyre listening to him as hes drawing load of lines on it when in reality they shoudl be nodding off to sleep. i like him lot.

I questioned it for a long while but watching him celebrate at Wembley converted me. It meant so much to him, as did tonight.
