mancini's quote are from today. and if you cant see balotelli's talent maybe you better give up with football.

I didn't say i can't see his talent, read what i actually DID say.I said i have hardly seen any evidence of his so called great talent.Potential, talent,is all just that until it is applied properly and on a regular basis.

The goalposts have moved for young master Balotelli with our new additions and he either shapes up or ships out.

After 44 years of following City i am hardly likely to give up with football. I love a character myself but there is a difference between being a character and acting like a knob, unfortunately Balotelli is in the latter at the moment.
Go to 1:15 in the video and look at all the angles and tell me that is nothing short of class. Even the BM guys that didn't even fancy Balo admitted it as such.

Agreed that is a great goal, and definitely if someone asked me, "Name 2 great goals by Balo at City?" that would be the only one I could come up with.

Haven't seen much of this vid but the first to goals are already class. So here's a starting point:

I don't think there is anyone at City I want to come good more than Balotelli. He plays up of course, but no-one strikes me as more misunderstood. He's the type of guy you can see scoring a hat trick against Barcelona and just holding his hand up like he did against Villa cool as you like.

I hope I'm reading it correctly in saying looking on at Aguero/Dzeko/Silva getting the goals he's madly fired up to come on and show what he can do. Without having a poor game by trying too hard of course.

That goal against Villa was probably the most technically impressive of the whole competition.

If we end up playing Barcelona, Balotelli will hopefully never see the pitch

He does have great potential but he has to sort his head out, stop thinking he is already a superstar, work hard and start fulfilling it.

I am a blue,i WANT him to be a success but i fear the worst. When he sees the progress Dzeko has made, the class of Aguero, the skill of Silva,Tevez still there,Nasri coming,he knows the time for joking is over if he wants some game time.

He did for Inter. You probably didn't watch so you couldn't tell me how he did.

Let's use this as a starting point:

The only player to have had a remotely bad game so far is Lescott, if Bobby thinks he can slot in at CB for the last 10 minutes at the Lane then give him a chance.

Providing that we're already 4-0 up.

I would like to see us play a 4-3-3, including Balotelli.

Something like this:

Hart

Zabaleta
Kompany
Lescott
Richards

Milner (or De Jong if available)
Silva
Nasri

Aguero
Balotelli
Dzeko

If we played this team and stayed solid at the back, I could see us scoring 3 or 4 goals against Spurs.
