Excuse me if my memory is fallacious, but haven't some of the training reports said he's been very eager in training as of late since Aguero's arrival and it's almost like a new Balo?

He may be eager in training i'm not doubting that. The thing is we can only play 11 players, so if you want him to play who would you leave out?
Look a few posts up.

If we have to play him then I'd suggest Wigan at home would be more suitable, not Spurs away. If he can't hack it against Wigan then he isn't going to do it against anyone else.
Pretty much this, if Balo has really changed he will play out of his skin and really go for it against Wigan that should be the test for him in a way to see if he has changed or he is still the same Balo

The teams doing well why should we alter it to accomodate a player whos performance or temperament are subject to such change. Its our first major test of the season, Balotelli needs to show he is prepared to knuckle down and behave in a manner which will benefit the team before gaining a chance.
How do you expect him to show this if he can't even be given a chance when it really matters. Not to mention in training reports, his mentality is at a high.

First major test of the season? Don't act like Balo can't play. Ran rings around Chelsea for Inter.

He also has proven he is liability at times and particularly against Spurs we will need evert player pulling in one direction.

Aguero, Tevez and Dzeko have proven they are prepared to work hard for the benefit of the team, why should one of them lose there place. Dzeko has scored 3 in 3. Aguero has scored two on his debut and looked a threat all game at Bolton. Tevez has performed over two seasons for us consistently well. Silva is scoring also, so who should we drop for Balotelli then because you have a hunch he might be hungry although his last performance against United suggested otherwise.

Just did mate, i've since changed it.

Fuck that, he can't be relied on just yet. We need players we can rely on away to spurs. The week after against Wigan will be a better game for a youngtser like Balo to get some game time and prove a point

Ironic after reading your posts that you would even mention Tevez in his current state.

Read up, for what you decided to skip, and there's my answer. And if anyone is dropped for Balotelli, it won't be because of me. Thanks for your attempt throw a personal jab at me for trying to have a reasoned conversation.

Cheers.

If we do play him do we start with him or bring him on from the bench? I prefer the latter. Perhaps replacing Tevez if he is selected who is not yet 100%

aguero, balo, dzecko and tevez

fuk me - glad i dont have to pick

although i would start dzecko as he is on fire

i would start with dzeck an aguero again and have the other two on the bench
