Played for City but never should have

Where to start

Rodney Marsh - flash cockney who Mal loved but cocked up a likely title winning team

McIlroy - why?

Bobby Shinton - bloody awful

Terry Park - won a comp to play for us I think

Bill Williams - see above

Mark Ward - an odious little ****

Robert Hopkins - legend in his own mind

Ged Brennan - absolute tripe

Buster Phillips - stature of an anorexic

Barry Conlon - looked like a Bus Conductor

Martyn Margetson - arguably the worst City keeper I've ever seen, and I saw John Burridge & Barry Siddall

Christian Negouai - If we'd had a volleyball team he'd have been ideal

Simon Colosimo - like an extra from Neighbours who wandered into our training ground

And a side nomination of should never have been
manager to Alan Ball and Mark Hughes.
Agree with them except Mark Ward
Did a good job for us.
U forgot Bradbury,Bob Taylor,Lee Peacock,Gareth Taylor,Van Blerk.
To name a few.
U have Brannan in there he is the worst footballer and i use the term footballer loosely the worst i have seen in my 56 yrs hated him with a passion could not pass, tackle and was an absolute shithead.
Nigel Clough was gash too.

Maybe I should have explained myself better.
Not players who were not good enough to play for city. There is an almost endless list of those.
I mean players who never should have been allowed to wear our shirt because of their previous.
I’ve had a drink so maybe not coming across as I mean to.

Lampard
Lampard was great in his spell for us. We only signed him on loan because the club recognised he still had another season of top flight footy in him before being put out to pasture in Yankland.

His equaliser against Chelsea was funny as fuck.

Top signing was Lampard, I’d actually put him in the cult hero bracket.
