Player (and manager) threads

Had come in to suggest that maybe you have player threads for just performances and then people can start new threads if it isn't related to their performance, i.e. Yaya's agent would be a new thread, but his performance bashers can moan in his performance thread.
However have seen someone has already suggested it, so both old and new systems need using.
Also the multiple threads on Iheanacho is not ideal.

How is it working out for the mods and Ric?
It's working out OK, in the sense that there's a bit more varied discussion now. The personal arguments and wums that dominated some of the player threads were getting a bit tedious.
On the other hand, we're now getting multiple threads on the same thing (such as Iheanacho yesterday), and other threads are becoming de facto megathreads threads, just with confusing, unrelated titles (like the Equipe Guardiola one).
I think there's going to be a bit of trial and error before we get a system to keep everyone happy. The informal vote on here was pretty inconclusive!
I'd like to trial having individual player performance threads, as @MCFC1993 suggests above. These will purely be for on field performances only, and anything else about the player should go in a new thread as and when required. We're going to mod these a bit more firmly though to stop the same problems as before arising again.
