Adebayor wore it in the 2010/11 season, banging in a hat trick at home to Lech Poznan then later Adebayor, our 4th choice striker, was loaned out to Real Madrid - which at the time was quite amusing to me.

Wanchope probably had the longest run this century. Goater was number 9 sometimes, along with about 10 other player after Quinn until we got squad numbers again.

Mpenza was a proper number 9.
