If Kompany is big enough to get his number retired then Silva certainly is.

Anyway, if we went down that route we'd have no #4 or #10 which is just excessive seeing as they're two of the most important numbers in the sport. With the exception of MVF I don't want us to retire any numbers.
 
I want rodri to have 6 but if anglino signs first and asks for 6 will the club say no

I was thinking about this today.

I said to Mrs Vienna I don’t see any reason why Foden shouldn’t have No. 16 or No. 12. He is an integral part of the first team squad now and if he takes the former, it’s not like it did the previous incumbent any harm, and if it’s the latter, I believe Scott Sinclair was the last to wear it, so there isn’t exactly any pressure to live up to his contribution to the Blue cause.
