Player of the Season - 2022/23

Haaland is the clear winner for me. You just can't ignore 50 odd goals on your first season in the Prem. He's otherworldly.

But if we were to ignore him, the vote becomes a lot tougher. Kev has had some tough times but still won us games and put up incredible numbers, Ake has put on an absolute masterclass at the back, Stonesy has adapted incredibly well to new roles, Rodri is an absolute tank, and Grealish has redefined the role of the winger. There's arguments for all of them, and even maybe one or two others. I'm sure Phil would be in the conversation too if he hadn't had injury issues.

I went for Phillips , he might have been quiet in the first half of the season but without his ability to see out the final 30seconds of games when we have a multi goal lead I don't know where we would be.

I think there've been lots of really good individuals this season.

Haaland, Rodri and Aké would be my top three.

It’s obvious that it’s Haaland, but half a dozen players are deserving of it any other season

Rodri has been the most consistent but if you get 50 odd goals you deserve to win this award , as others have pointed out mentions to Ake , Stones but have had injuries , Jack but like another poster said he didn’t really get going till after the World Cup and KDB not been as good as previous seasons but has been outstanding in certain games

Haaland for goals...Stones for the ability to re-invent his game...Rhodri for being the cohesion and best in class at what he does.

Could be any of Grealish, Haaland, Rodri, Ake or Stones. Went for Grealish in the end but it's pretty obvious Haaland will win it.

Could we rank them? Doesnt feel right just picking 1 person as different players have brought different things.

Feels weird saying this, but despite the huge number of goals, i dont feel Haaland has been the best player this season.

At the back, its between Ake and Stones...in the middle its between KdB and Rodri...up front/wide its Haaland or possibly Super Jack ....hmmm
