I agree think it's been close between him and josko ,kovacic has pretty much been a constant 8 while josko has varied between 9and 6 where he has cost us goals and games ,so over the full season kovacic for me
 
Kovacic for me, just ahead of Josko who unfortunately has had a few mistakes leading to goals. Nearly another against Forest

Aye which is why Josko is my pick not berny

but berny hasn't been awful, during the pre christmas slump where the whole team were poor he was knackered and you could see it, the lad has virtually had no rest for 4 seasons but still ran his bollocks off for the team, those few games out the other month gone he has come back rested and been back on form.

If you start in almost every game you are bound to make more mistakes, as fatigue, both physical and mental, plays a role.

I'd say that one of the main reasons why Dias hasn't been as impressive as in his 1st season is that he has played too much football and couldn't get proper rest, physically and especially mentally.

Some fan favourites never play 50, let alone 60 games, in a season and we don't know whether they can handle it. Apparently, only Rodri's level doesn't drop from playing too many games, but the price for it was a bad injury.

All the mistakes notwithstanding, we'd be properly fucked without Josko. He is close in terms of goals to the other players not named Haaland while featuring at the back in almost every game. Pep's player of the season for a reason.

Shit season by our usual standards, I think everyone has been below par.

The only stand-outs really have been the emergence of O’Reilly and Erling’s goals. Gvardiol about the best of the defenders but he’s had shaky moments too.

Haaland edges it, we’d be fucked without his goals.
 
Not easy to choose because we've been so below our usual high standards. I would say Kovacic, Bernie and Haaland.
 
Kova easily. Gvardiol had some very poor games at LB, cost us quite a few goals. Been much better at CB, but no way deserves POTY. Nico O is YPOTY
