It's a tough question as people like Ireland, who played well during the 2008-2009 season haven't been on top form so far this season. Plus half our side was boight in the Summer so there aren't too many players who have regularly played for us since January 2009.

My vote goes to Given, he's been our most consistent player this season and didn't do too much wrong last season, Definitely Hughes' best buy so far, certainly value for money with that one.

not really a fan on this player of the 'year' notion. The team who've played the first half of the 09/10 season is quite different from the team that played the second half of last season.

So, i'd prefer to talk about the player of the season so far and theres a few candidates. You couldn't rule out De Jong Bellars or Given so far.
