Given 6 Couldn't do much about the goals and did what he had to do ok
Richards 4 Got caught out in the air too often and didn't hurry to get back when going forward.
Onouha 6 Tried hard and tackled well
Toure 4 Lost his man too often and got caught out of position
Sylvinho 4 Got outpaced by Lennon though had no help
De Jong 6 His usual busy self but was bi-passed in the 2nd half
Ireland 6 Tried to get things going but no movement from Adebayor or Robinho
Tevez 7 Tried all he could with uniterested players around him.
Adeayor 1 Turned up
Robinho 1 As above
Barry 5 Worked and tackled hard
Sante Cruz 4 Tried
Petrov5 Provided cross which Ade put over from in front of goal
 
Given 5 - Still welded to the line at corners and for crosses.
Rchards 7 - Playing well at the moment.
Toure 4 - Never rated him, never will, everything he does looks calamitous.
Onouha 6 - Did well especially considering who he was playing alongside and his lack of starts.
Sylvinho 5 - Was always going to be tested by Lennon but not as bad as many have said.
Robinho 3 - One trick pony, he was crap last season and worse this yet people still say he's our best player lol!
Barry 5 - Gives the ball away far too often, our midfield is weak and here is a reason why.
De Jong 5 - Usual tough tackling but not much else, as one dimensional as Robinho but in a different way.
Tevez - 7 - Thank god we've aquired some players we can build a side around for the future.
Adebayor 3 - Another I've never rated, never in the right place at the right time and nearly every touch he had was poo.
 
Given 6 - Kicking was fucking awful. Not much could be done for the goals- the first 2 atleast

Ireland 6 - Anonymous in the first half. When moved more inside looked most dangerous player - tho that didn't take much

de Jong 6 - Should have twatted Whiley

Barry 7 - Best City player throughout the 90 mins - Didn't take much

Robinho 5 - He played?

Tevez 6 - Looked dangerous in opening 10 mins. Ran about abit afterwards

Adebayor 4 - The only reason why I knew he was playing was because he was fucking shite

Santa Cruz 6 - A few nice touches

Petrov 5 - Came on, moaned and went home and probably moaned some more


Hughes 5 - For some reason didn't put out a team with a right sided attacker and then did fuck all about it even after it was bleeding obvious our lack of width was hurting us. Didn't have the balls or sense to give Vlad a run at Half Time. Brought Santa Cruz on and then waited around for a while before bringing a winger on to supply him.

The only person I saw Petrov moan at was Adebayor when he fucked up an attack, some strange people who buy into these charicatures.
 
Yep ......... Ireland and Tevez were the 'star' players for me too ....... but we need far more than these two to play well to win away games , that's for sure!
 
I might have been seeing things, but did anyone else see Given wince now and then when he took the kickouts? I hope I was, because we don't want a reoccurance of the groin injury that he wasn't able to shake a year or two back.

He didn't do anything else tho. His moan was average at best.

Anyway, I'll believe I'm strange when I begin to think that Robinho isn't even in the top 10 of the best players at City ;)

Did more in 5 minutes than Robinho all season, great long ball to Ade who fucked that up too. Robinho is consistently our worse player, followed by Ade and then Toure. If you're going off the fact he was expensive, Brazillian and can do a few tricks before he produces his usual crap cross then I can see you still probably believe he's world class.
