In response to rastus, I will say that this is a review of how the players have done so far this season, not just their capabilities in general. So, although I agree that Robinho is our most talented player, I believe that Ireland has outperformed him this season. Maybe my expectations of Robinho were higher than what he has produced, whereas Ireland has exceeded my expectations of him.

so you expected that Robinho will score more than 11 goals in his first season in PL for a team who is fighting for relegation?? If Robinho was in Chelsea he would have scored more than 11 because of the players around him

Personally I'd say that the accolades should go to Ireland right now, he deserves it.
To be honest I fully agree with your analysis, although right now I'd stick with Johnson and see if anything changes in his demeanour.
