Player thread: James Milner (2014/15)

Another assist today; 7 in a league season for a sparingly used wide man isn't bad.

Said it so many times but if he plays rather than Navas all season he'd have probably signed a new contract months ago.
Hmmmm.

One, you're still not fooling anyone.

Two, sparingly used? You not seen many matches this season then? He's averaged over 40 games a season with us.

Im hoping he decides to stay but it's gone on too long, good luck Jimmy wherever you play next season.

Good honest player who always put in a shift, but world class he ain't and never will be. We won't win the champions league with jimmy being a regular for us and neither will anybody else either. So Long Jimmy!

hes a quality footballer that has the bonus of always working his bollocks off, you don't score the goals he does, create the chances he does and create the space he does by just being honest and to say a team won't win the CL with him in it is fucking ludicrous, Nicky Butt and Phil Neville might disagree with you

More nonsense from this character.

Regardless.......Lets be clear.....Milner cant even make his mind up why he's leaving......first its playing time, then its not feeling valued, then it's not being played in his favoured position, then the length of his contract offer isn't enough........

Maybe if he'd just come out with the truth,he'd have retained much more respect from those that can see through him.

im not being funny here as i honestly don't know but has anyone heard Milner say these are the reasons he might leave ? and where can i find them

He's been a decent player for us, I'm indifferent to if he stays or goes. I would be happy if he stays, but if he goes then I wouldn't be devastated. If he wants to go to the dippers from us, then he must be mental IMO.

im clinging to the fact he's having a house built near me but i suppose if he goes Liverpool its not that much of a journey
