Apart from his ability and lion heart on the pitch, the difference between Zaba and the rest of the squad is that he has embraced Manchester. He's even got a Manc accent and when he is interviewed he comes across as one of us.
He's about as good as a City player can get and I love him to bits!

Love the guy.

Never looked more than average in his early days and was quite reckless at times (red dippers at home when he got sent off for one)

Then - WOW!

I think a connection was made between Zaba & Us when his Dad had that bloody awful accident he said as much at the time.


Does anyone know if his Dad is coming to the final?

No chance I'd have Hart third, he's made far too many mistakes. Milner for me.

he got sent off. we were left with 10 men and ended up losing.

zabaleta, is not so great after all.

Yeah, so he got sent off. It happens. He's still City through and through and I don't care if he gets the odd red card.

The turning point for me was that Everton game in 2010 at home (I think it was 2010 anyway), when he was battered, bruised and bleeding, wearing the spare shirt and a soaking head bandage and he was still going for headers, putting in challenges and basically giving Fellaini a hard time. I've not seen that level of commitment for a long time and I decided then that we needed more with his passion.

Long may he continue to be a Blue. He's not far off being a City hero and - dare I say - has the potential to be a legend...
