Thought it was time our main man got his own thread.

For me, he is our best player.

Agüero is injured 50% of the time and Yaya likes to go missing against the lower teams. Kompany has a mistake in him with this new high line we play.

Nasri is the only attacker who does the business every game.

At 26 I think we should be building the team around him rather than sticking him on the left wing.

I would like to see him central behind Aguero against Barcelona.

Improved enormously over the last few months. But best player? He has a lot to do to knock Silva off his crown.

I fully understand what you mean though; just do not agree with the best player bit.

Re: Samir Nasri

Another good goal. More importantly was one of the few players trying to take the game into his own hands and drag us back. And he did enough too. We definitely should've tied it up after his goal.

Massively improved but doesn't yet seem able to boss the middle without Silva being there.
They make a great pair ---but Silva can do it without Nasri ---not sure about the other way round though

Re: Samir Nasri discussion thread

If ever a player has proved me wrong, it's him. Fantastic attitude these days and easily one of the first names on the team sheet. Keep up the good work Samir.

Is he in or out of the France set up at the moment ?

being rehabilitated... was left out v netherlands as had played a big match on Sunday..
This was mentioned by the commentators on French TV, where I watched the game..

Re: Samir Nasri discussion thread

You love a dig at Kompany.

Kompany, Aguero and Silva are our most consistent players.

Nasri on this season's form only, is up there as well yes. Only player today who seemed to want to forget about last weekend and move onwards and upwards.

Re: Samir Nasri discussion thread

Never thought hed develop into a leader when watching him for years at arsenal, looks to have added that extra responsibility to his game, but what a player, has all the ability in the world.
He Mentioned after the final last week how much his 2 previous visits to wembley hurt him (wigan with city and birmingham with arsenal)...For that I was pleased for him when he scored that cracker against sunderland. Top player, looked very determined today, almost angry , and did his best to turn the game around, single handedly at times.
