When we first signed him he had a good season, then last season he was off the pace, now he is back to his best, but that is usually what happens with players who come to a new club, a good or bad first season, but after that first or second season they usually play as they can.

Honestly, loads, loads, loads better. People talk about this Arsenal-era Nasri like a Messi/Iniesta hybrid, it's really odd. He didn't have half, no, make that 1/10th the mental fortitude he's developed at City. When we signed him I didn't think he had the stones to cut it here, and he showed plenty of it in his first season. Meanwhile Mata was looking great at Chelsea (who I thought we should have signed), which was a bit annoying.

Now he's strapped on (or grown) a huge pair of sweaty ones, and he's equally happy to take on Arsenal as he is Sunderland. In fact he's played out of his skin against pretty much everyone we've faced this season, always looking to drive play forward.

Probably never been more wrong about a player than Nasri. Hope we give him that contract extension.

He just keeps taking on players more and more and what a thrill it is to see.

His form just keeps getting and better and he is playing with a huge smile on his face right now.

Tunnel cam is worth watching just for the bit where Khaldoon interrupts Nasri and Wengers chat, puts his arm round Nasri and says to Wenger "see him, he's a champion" brilliant !

Amazing what having some heart can do, he's gone from being a shithouse to a monster and all credit goes to him to proving people and me wrong.

Did everything but score today. A shade behind Fernandinho for MoTM I thought. Arguably our best player this season. Takes a mean corner too.

Samir is in the form of his life. Ball retention, distribution and chances created must be up at the top of the tree. He is happy, fans are driving him on and his work rate is first class. Loving the desire he is showing this season.
