The joys of Bluemoon.

Nasri is a brilliant player and a lot of the good he does goes unnoticed because he doesn't make the Hollywood passes as regularly as Silva. The only criticism I've ever had of Nasri is his own self belief that he can be even more effective if he took more risks playing the ball forward.
At times I think he's been guilty of taking the easier option which his why his ball retention and passing stats are so good. This may explain why some sections of our fans are always on his back even though his stats suggest otherwise.
I also think he like Silva is wasted out wide as I think he makes a better No 10. I also believe we are missing a trick with Nasri as I remember one of his most influential games for us was when he played as a deep lying creative/defensive midfielder in the mould of Pirlo. He could also be the answer to us constantly rinsing out Yaya in every game.
All the same I think we are a stronger and better team with him than without.
It was a cup match I think during the Mancini era where we were down to the bare bones because of injuries and suspensions. Nasri was absolutely brilliant and rightly given the MOM award.80s Shorts said:Dribble said:This :-)Citygolf said:I give Nasri 3 games back and some of the fans on here will be calling for him to be dropped and that he should be sold.

Can you point to some of these games where he gave the teeniest weeniest Pirlo like performance ?
You cant because he hasn't.

It was after the match he revealed that he's played there before when in France and thinks its his best position and where he'd eventually end up playing. Wenger then made similar comments about Nasri being suited to a deeper role but alas it was the last time I recall us using him in that quarterback position.
Dunno why though because he was ace.
I can't recall who we were playing that's all.80s Shorts said:Dribble said:It was a cup match I think during the Mancini era where we were down to the bare bones because of injuries and suspensions. So you cant recall the game when we played him at quarterback when he was ace, that also makes him Pirloesque.
