Player thread: Samir Nasri (2014/15)

Not a natural athlete, had good seasons when he had full pre-season training.

Playing him while injured in August wasn't the smartest move.
 
If both Samir and Jimmy go then we are going to be a bit light in attacking midfield.

Hopefully Lopes can step up but we will need to bring in someone else.

Really wish we had got Hazard when we had the chance.

p.s. Samir's bird is well fit so I can understand why Vinny did it (if he did!)
 
He's out in the summer 100% which is good news. There are many better players than him out there and many more committed and focussed on their football. I've said it many times before - when you turn up to play Barcelona you look at Messi, Suarez, Neymar and then the width that their full backs add and ability of Iniesta etc. When they look at City they see Silva and Aguero and know that by stopping those two getting time and space they don't have too much more to worry about. If Nasri was a Reus then it makes the proposition a bit more difficult.

How do you know for sure he is out or is it just wistful thinking?
