As we always say the game is all about opinions. In mine, I would say that in nearly 50 years of watching City David Silva is my number one all time City player and I believe if fans were polled on this subject he would easily be in the top three players we have ever had.
Don't mention 'top three players', it upsets our Jack.

Ha ha do you really think I get upset ?
Probably not. I was spoofing you. It's a central plank to my style of humour.

Another stat to irritate the haters.

Silva has created 77 goalscoring chances for his team-mates this year, the most at City and only Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas have created more in the entire league.

Yet Silva has just 4 assists - as a chance conversion rate that is piss poor from the rest of the forwards.

Jack will not let you get away with that logical post.

Folks will regret him leaving when or if that happens in the summer.

The Sun: Valencia could make an ambitious big money offer to take home City star David Silva (29) this summer.
Lucky Toma mentioned this in his thread yesterday. If there's any truth in it we can't even consider accepting. If on the other hand Silva is open to a move then I'd want to know what's changed between his interview a few months ago where he reiterated his desire to stay and how happy he is, to now, a possible move away.

This would be at least 1 year too early (not that he shouldn't be here for longer). With the squad rebuild we need at least 3 new players for the front 6 (Aguero, Silva and Fernandinho are the only one good/motivated enough to start as it is). Having to replace Silva would cause too many problems.

With 4 years still left on his contract I think City will hold firm.

Would be gutted if we gave it a seconds thought. Unless he wants a move in which case he deserves it. But I would still be gutted.
